I visited Rakefet to shoot some ideas for Mishloach Manot for Purim. We had this Idea to create a salty Mishloach Manot, for those who prefer salt over sugar (I prefer both). I probably ate half of these cookies just during the shoot, so we got just some left for the pictures. Honestly, the only thing I was missing was a bottle of beer.

Ingredients:

190 gr. white flour

95 gr. butter

55 gr. grated Kashkaval cheese

40 gr Permesan cheese

2 gr. salt

a bit of paprika

50 gr. eggs (1 mideum size egg)

200 gr. sesame seeds

Preparation:

cof

In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients

add butter, rubbing with your fingers until you get breadcrumbs like texture

slowly add the eggs until you get a smooth texture

add both types of cheese

Roll out onto a 20*20 cm tray

leave in the refrigerator for at least one hour

Heat oven to 170C

Cut dough into cubes and dip in the sesame seeds

Bake in the oven for about 20-30 minutes until it gets a pretty- golden color.

Let it cool and keep in a sealed box

Enjoy!
